Just a hermit and conche enjoying tea together however whatvis the white bubbly stuff to the right ,maybe some form of sponge ?

It's a beneficial sponges but can be a kinda messy sometimes. It will drop off the little balls peridicly and they will float around. With a lot of them in a system the "balls" will collect where there's a low flow and can be kinda messy looking.
