What would be the “best” par for lps and zoas?

What would be the “best” par for lps and zoas?
"Strong" or "weaker" (within the normal ranges), adapting the system accordingly. Some of them get 1000 PAR in nature.
Choose what you want and they will do great!
I prefer to keep them under higher PAR to develop the protective pigments under halides.

You can probably get OK results with as little as 100. They will also do well with much more and I have kept them in 750 PAR range in frag tanks under high intensity light - they don't need this much, but they can respond well to it.

im curious as well. I started doing the maintenance myself to my tank and rented a meter from a local store. The happiest ones seemed to be around 100, I was really surprised with that result. Curious what others have to say
