Best pellet brand ever?

Hi guys,

I am curious about which pellet brands do you use to feed your fish. I am currently using a mix of hikari (carnivore, seaweed extreme and marine-s).

Anything superior in terms of quality and nutrients?

(I also feed frozen but I am wondering about dry pellet.)

I was looking for new pellets too; saw New life Spectrum recommended a few places.. Ordered on Amazon. Well I guess I didn't notice the size. 600g bag showed up! So I'm good for 10 years... Want some?

Good question, But I’m in here waiting for the lies erh uh “evidence” our good fellow hobbyists to chime in with…..
Although Im pretty certain not even Hikari has done comprehensive diet, growth and testing comparisons amongst popular brands…
My guess is nobody has….Nor has any fish offered thier opinions….
So how would you even know or answer this?
….( although I have witnessed some brands fish REFUSE to even eat)

Added: I generally buy Formula 2 pellets, NLS and/or Hikari Herbivore

I can't say I use the best or superior but I've been using ocean nutrition formula 1 and 2 pellets along with sustainable aquatics pellets for several years and fish are nice and fat. I also feed frozen twice daily.

I have a mix of brands: Nyos, nutramar, fauna marine, and Dr Bassleer. I mix them all in a little shaker bottle before putting them in the Neptune auto feeder.

Can’t say any one is better or worse, I try to go for a mix of pellet sizes and some that sink and float.

I was going to buy ON formula one and two, mix and add to autofeeder. Worried though the formula one would sink and my clowns wouldn't get enough. I've a few dish that don't feed off the bottom.

I feel like this is the eternal question in line with the best LED's for growth! Lol
My Clowns LOVE some I got but nothing else. One clown of mine is 3 times the size of my others and I'm trying to make sure I keep the aggression down by extra feeding. But my phosphates spiked when I fed a little much...But they really tear it up. I used Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 pellets.

Have had great success with New Life Spectrum in the past. This time around going with something new and so far really happy with Reef Nutrition’s TDO chromaboost. Saige small is good for my clownfish, anthias, and firefish.

Update: Has been 2 weeks I am giving to my clowns and wrasses "new life spectrum probiotix". Insane. They love it. It seems they are even enjoying more than frozen mysis. The smell is also very good. Since I switched from hikari to nls, PO4 level literally DROPPED and stays constantly in good range (0.06-0.08). Thank you guys!

Mine also loved hikari but I changed because they raised my po4 too much.
