Title says it all. Gonna miss my android but a busted face and it's upgrade time. No 1 phone sticks out, so I thought I'd make a thread a see what ya'll say.

It's an old model, but Samsung galaxy s2 has taken the best pictures I have seen with a phone

Samsung Note 4 here and I have to say I've been very impressed with all my Samsung cameras for awhile now.

The Nexus 6P might be something to look into. DXoMark rated it just behind the S6 and ahead of the iPhone 6S. The pixel size should make it one of the better phone camera. Unfortunately there is no VR, but Google now was an API in place so you can get a third party app and shoot it RAW (DNG). This will greatly help if you can go back in post and cut back on how saturated the blues are. The 6P is only sold through the Google Play store, but it has the bands to support Verizon.

I do have a DSLR, but my current phone (OnePlus One) allows be to shoot raw as well. I can dial back the blues in post and it makes the images come out so much more pleasing.

Here's a link to some samples.
