Hello! I want to start culturing my own phytoplankton, but from my research, it seems like it needs a pretty strong bubbler. What would you recommend? Thanks for any help!

Depending on grow station location, get a quiet one.
I got an eheim 100, which is enough to bubble 3 or 4 vessels.
I hung this at my station to minimize transmitted vibration and noise.

So it doesn’t have to be especially powerful?
I find they are all relatively the same. As mentioned above, some have rubber padding on the bottom to be more quiet, some have 3-4-5 air tubes, some even have dials to adjust the intensity, you can spend anywhere from $10 up to $80 for an air pump, its really up to you and what you like. For me, after trying a few, I find the cheap $10 bubbler works just as good as anything else.

Great! Thank you!
