I was wondering if there are better places to get copepods with mostly adults? I used to get mine from algae barn but I literally need my microscope to see them and sometimes it doesn't look like what I paid for. I am looking for tisbee pods for my fat and healthy Mandarin for when I need to introduce new specimens to my reef tank. Give me your thoughts?

I've always used Algaebarn.
If you are basing your buying preferences on whether you can see the pods easily, get the Tig pods.
I get the mixed containers. The fish can see them and that's all that matters to me.

A lot of Reefers are crazy. I wonder how much live “pods” cost per pound?

I used to think buying sushi grade sea food to feed my tank is crazy. This is cheaper then frozen fish food. Comparing sushi grade sea food with live pods is like comparing candle to the sun.
Crazy indeed.

Amphipods, Amphipods in Bulk, Amphipods wholesale

Culture them? Poseidon Reef has a nice kit. I’ve struggled to get the phyto going without crashing, but others here have had success feeding them Reef Roids instead.

Podyourreef.com in Texas is where I get mine. Fast shipping and never had a bad bottle yet.

I've gotten pods in the past from Algaebarn, but lately I've been using PodYourReef. Reef Nutrition is also a good source if you have a LFS nearby that carries them.

We started with the Algaebarn kit and its done well in our refugium with chaeto. After a few weeks we have hundreds on the glass and I'm sure plenty more in the rocks and substrate.

Most LFS stores have them. Then you do not have to pay shipping and but they usually sell for a little more expensive then online. If I were you- I would just use a website like algae barn instead of driving around looking for a LFS that carries pods.

We sell smaller pods to increase the chances to seed your aquarium. Larger pods are an easier quick snack for fish and are closer to the end of their life cycle. :) ~Shaun K

That would make sense now! Well thank you everyone for commenting and Algae Barn for clarifications. I honestly learned a little something new and getting copepods small or large just depends on what you plan to do. ;)

Podyourreef also sells pods in the same sizes algae barn does. There's many places to get pods.
