Where is the best place to order the 10 gal box? I ordered from Chewy and most of the boxes were solid bricks. Any online retailers offer consistently fresh boxes?

This. I buy the big box that has 4 bags in it, it doesn't ship as fast as other prime items (because it weighs 50 lbs), but it's free and shows up in less than a week. IO seals 4 individual bags inside the box instead of one big bag with a zip tie or some other temp seal on it (this is how the box of LA salt showed up). I prefer that for storage and shipping. Have had some handled rough and puncture a bag, at least this way it's just 1:4 that is busted and messy and not the whole 50 lbs.

Never had a problem with punctured bags from amazon. My box might be a little beat up when I get it, but the bags are always intact and clump-free (at least until I open them).
