Best place/way to trade corals

Hello all. I have a zoa piece that's gotten too big for my tank. I asked my LFS if i could trade it back for store credit and they said they'd only give me half of what i bought it for. Ive never traded corals with anyone. I live on long island. Can anyone walk me through the best way to trade coral? Thanks in advance.
