best placement for chalice coral color?

i am getting into chalice coral hard .buy all mi see but i have 6 bulb t5 set up on n 24 inch deep tank where is the best place to put them for the bestcolor.i heard the less light the more colors come out. is this true and where do you put yours?

I have most of mine in a shaded region. If they get too much light they just brown out for me. But there are chalices that like high light too.

what lights you run?

med to low light and med to low flow has been best for me mine are kept pretty close under 250's and they like it but I have seen the same ones melt under 400's if to close.
