Best plan to change tanks in same spot?

I'm upgrading from a 29g to a 75g and I want to know what the best plan is to change the tanks in the same spot (meaning the 75 will be in the same location as the 29g now).
I'm thinking maybe draining the 29, moving it to side of the room, fill it up again so I won't lose any livestock, put the 75 in place, fill it up with rocks and water, then move everything from the 29 over.
Sounds like a good plan, or do you have any other ideas on how to do it?

Do you have a rubbermaid tub or something like that? If so drain all your stuff into it. and then get your 75 in place and put the stuff back in.

This.... Remember a heater for the container while you move stuff over

It would also be a good idea to place air pumps or power heads in the tubs to circulate the water.

29 gallons is not a lot of water. What kind of flooring do you have the stand on? When I had dual 10gal and 20 gal FW tanks stacked on top of eachother back in the day, I used to move them around all the time. I would just drain each tank down to like 40%-50% and then have a buddy help me slide the stand where I wanted it. It was no big deal.
