I'm going to be running two XF230's on my 75g reef. My rock word is all in the center like an island. I have a corner overflow preventing the Gyres from being directly opposite each other on the short sides (the side with the overflow is not wide enough to accommodate it). Considering that limitation, what would be the best arrangement of the two? I do have an advanced controller so can control both.

Can we see a pic of the tank?

If it was me I would run one so it flows across the top from one side to the other and the other I would mount on the back wall in the corner just below the top one. Have it flowing across the back and create a counterclockwise current and have both on Pulse mode. You should get some great random currents, just be carefull with the flow setting as the Gyre's tend to move a lot of water, maybe have the Vertical one set a little lower than the top one. In the end the best thing to do is play around with them.
Good luck.
