I have a coral aquarium in the making [no coral yet] and was wondering the best way to go for lights. What is the most common, or practical, cost-effective lights used in coral tanks? Preferably LED.
Tank size: 36 long by 24 deep by 20 tall. It's a 75 gallon tank give-or-take.

Thanks in advance.

There's a lot of options with a big spread on price range, I myself have sbreeflights, I recommend them all day long, there's been a lot of talk about ocean revive t247 lights doing well bit I've also heard they don't grow as well as the sbreeflights. There's kessil which are a highly sought brand but your looking to spend a pretty penny same with the radions.

the ocean revives are great! and so are the jebao fake kessils I thought they were garbage until I put one on my frag tank

I have the Ocean Revive T247 on my SPS dominated cube. I haven't had the power over 45%. They kick out a lot of light. My SPS coloration and growth has been great. I replaced a 250 watt radium and reefbrite hybrid pendant (because of heat issues) and the OR-T247 has done very well.

I have a Kessil A350 over my frag tank. Kessil is also very nice; however, for the price point I prefer the Ocean Revive fixtures. My acros seemed to prefer the OR over the Kessil as well.

Thank you all for your time and answers. I'll look into the options you supplied.

Checkout Radions.
I've been using mine over my 240 for 4 years. Really happy with them.
