Best powerhead/wave maker for 40 breeder

I just bought a maxspect gyre xf230 and I dislike it very much. What does the comunity suggest for a mixed reef tank? I think the gyre is too strong for the tank let me know if I am not correct.

I use 2 Mp40s in my 40 breeder. An xf230 isn’t too big. Just have to turn it down some. Both my poweheads max out at 50% on an antisync schedule.

It’s not to strong. What settings are you using?

The oceanic gyre the preset I cannot figure out why I put max gyre at 40% and at times I see the pump at 80%
