What’s the best technique to catch clownfish that took over my frogspawn? I’ve been trying with dual nets and they’ve made a fool out of me.
Long story short, they ignored the long tentacle anemone I got for them for 3 months. They recently took over my frogspawn garden, and of course chose my expensive pink frogspawn to lay their eggs on the base and try to keep its tentacles off them by pestering it
I pulled the LTA from its spot on the other side of my 280G and put it in this basket foolishly thinking that was going to be the difficult part of this half-baked idea.
Now I can’t catch the clowns to add them to the LTA basket where I had hoped they would all fall in love and then I’d move them all away from the frogspawn and they would live happily ever after.
Two nets is a fail. They’re too fast and too smart for me and I don’t want to destroy the corals. I have over 40 fish so I feel like a fish trap isn’t going to work well to target them. Any other ideas? My Plan B was to remove the pink frogspawn and put it in a trap thinking the clowns might follow it. Hoping someone has a better idea or has done it before.
