Best probe and dosing areas in sump?

Where is the best areas for the Apex probes and the dosing pump tubes? I have a Somatic 60S that has 2 spots for on either side of the sump, one for the probes and the other is for dosing tubes. On one side is in the same compartment as the overflow spill out and the other side is in the same compartment as the skimmer. I'm not sure if the dosing tubes in the same compartment as the skimmer is a good idea but that could be me over thinking it. The holders are interchangeable and can be swapped to either side.

I will possibly put the dosing tubes in the return chamber. Also, for the apex probes you can keep them in skimmer chamber unless you want to add an salinity probe as microbubbles/ vibration can cause an issue. I think @mdbannister has the somatic sump...
