On my new 200G Aquarium and very large sump I decided to go with a Ecotech VECTRA L1 - the initial thought was that it could power the following.
My Return (1" T'ed off at the top to 2 1/2" Loc Lines)
1 Carbon Reactor
1 GFO Reactor
1 Ozone Reactor
1 Calcium Reactor
After contemplating the manifold setup I built a 1" T'ed down to 1/2" with ballvalves in sequence with barb fittings.
Reading up online I came to the conclusion that in order to have my tank turn over enough and make sure I'm pumping water back into the tank and to prevent possibly clogging my return or damaging my pump when the reactors inevitably backup I should probably let the Vectra do what its supposed to do and take advantage of its features.
This leaves me with having to purchase a second pump. For this pump I was thinking
Jebao DCP 8000 or Jebao DCP10000
Energy usage is a concern and naturally I want to keep the costs down. Which pump would you guys recommend to power the auxillary reactors I mentioned above? At most there will be 1 to 2 ft pressure on the pump into the reactor which will be capped/Valve Closed at 1 end.
