I'm curious what pumps everyone is using on their reactors. I had a maxi jet 1200 on my gfo reactor that took a crap on me. I think it is because I had to pinch flow back so much I probably burned it up, now I'm running a maxi jet 400 a friend had on hand. So let's here what you have.

On one reactor I'm using a Maxi-Jet 900 and the other a Cobalt MJ-1200, both have been running almost two years without a problem.

I use a Maxijet 400 for a single Phosban reactor and a MJ600 if I am feeding two reactors. They only need like 60-80 GPH so it doesn't have to be a very big pump.

In my 20gal nano I am using a mag 5 for a return from my 20gal sump, and running two TLF 150 phosban reactors. one with Matrixcarbon and one with Purigen. Gate valve on the return and ball valves for the reactors. It also serves as a drain pump for water changes.
