Whats a good pump i can get for 2 44 gallons brute to make my first mixing station

sicce, jebao, reef octopus, orlushy, ecotech

some options. most pumps will do this. just get one based on the brute size or size up to the next pump.

How would i determine the pump size? Im going with 2 44 gallons brute

Do you plan to use the same pump to pump to your tank? And if so at what head pressure? That would probably be the bigger issue than simple mixing of saltwater which shouldn't need much at all.

Otherwise, something like a Jebao DCQ-3500 would be plenty. You could probably get even smaller if money is really an issue.

the pump sizes are based on “head pressure” or amount of water you want to move. obviously the higher, the more efficient/stronger. for reef tanks it’s based on how much turnover rate you want. for simple mixing stations it really doesn’t matter so long as it mixes the water at the speed or time you want
