I dont keep it in the tank.

The store I work at started carrying these not too long ago. Glad you like it. I'll start suggesting them!

I will say this, it doesnt have velcro on it for the inside scraper it has a kind of mesh, so it's not super strong on that end as far as scraping regular algae, but for coraline it is amazing.

The website that I posted is where you get it. And i really dont care about the flipping aspect of it, just how easy it is to get to coraline down in the back corners of the tank. But it doesnt scratch the glass when you flip it at all. It has little plastic knob feet to protect it.

i have had this cleaner since it first came out and very unhappy with it. the first release of it had blades that rusted in a few days. they changed the composition of the blade and now the rust in a few months even with removing it from the water

I tried the other one that's similar (flat piece that glues to a mag float) that worked awesome but similar experience as stated above. Works amazing but rusts immediately.

Spray it with some rubbing alcohol after use. It will force all the wwater away and should inhibit the rust

These are supposed to be a decent stainless steel blade, I did buy a replacement when I bought it, just because.

It only goes up to 1/2" glass though. My tank is 3/4" :squigglemouth:

3) Will the metal blades rust and how long do they last?
Metal blades are made with 316 stainless steel which is highly corrosion resistent. You can leave the Flipper in your tank and the blade should last for months depending on your use.
