Best reasonably priced wrasse...?

The variety of wrasses is huge, but I'd like to hear your opinion on the best wrasse for price, colouration but most importantly how effective it is at wiping out pests! Thinking about getting one for my 70gal too if you guys have any ideas also...

You may want to look at some of the Halichoeres wrasses. They are good at pest control and some are reasonable. I personally have a yellow wrasse for pest control in my frag tank and got him on sale for $15.

Yeah, trying not to spend any more then £40 and the yellow wrasse was always going to be a strong contender

Radiant wrasse is beautiful and great at pest control. Slightly more expensive than yellow wrasse but a really unique fish.

Can't comment on pest control yet. But I recently got a 6line and he has been picking at rocks, glass and coral bases constantly since introducing him to display yesterday. He is in a 75g.

One of the smaller wrasses in the Halichoeres genus:

chysus
Leucoxanthus
Melanurus
Chrysotaenia
Biocellatus
Iridis

Sixline and close cousins are also cheap, colorful, and great pest eaters...but they can be aggressive when they mature, and don't mix with other wrasses.
