Need to find a LED that will work for my retro that is less than 5" from front to back... any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi and welcome, appears you are new such as I.

Can you give some more info? Size of tank, goal on what you want to keep , budget, etc. what do you mean 5” from front to back?

I assume it is a retrofit into a canopy?

Hi! Actually it’s a retro for the Red Sea max s series tank... the original t5 lights bf they upgraded to the new AI Hydra 26s had 2 t5 bulbs in the middle portion I planned on taking out and replacing them with leds... that area is about 60”x a little less than 5”...

I’ll second Dave at NanoBox Reef. He does retrofits and custom work too. I’m in the process of a reboot but will be ordering my second mini tide when I’m ready.
I’ll definitely look into that! Thanks !

No problem. Hope you find an option that meets your needs and budget!

I have the xr15 pros and did this I had to add some wood to get the nine inches I needed off the water, they run so cool this way the fans rarely come on. It was the only way to keep my canopy because I don't like the lighting bleeding into the room only in the tank.
