Best reef safe dwarf angel (60 gallons)?

Just wondering most say with cation on live aquaria why is this has anyone had issues?

every dwarf angel will find something in your tank to eat that you wont want it to some might pick that prizes sps or maybe that clam and master scoly you like lol
if you want an angel in your reef you cant go wrong with a watanabe or a bellus

Just about anyone who has kept dwarf angels in a reef tank for long enough has had issues. Some are worse than others, but under the right circumstances, they'll all nip. Thus, 'with caution'.

Yea so I guess it's best to stay away I have so far just was checking out some nice coral beauty's but not worth the trouble lol

I've had luck with both flames and a flameback. definitely exceptions to the rule though. I've had to tear my whole tank apart to catch a couple others. One day i will learn...

The only dwarf angel I have had good luck with was an Eibli Angel. I have tried many others only to be removed due to aggression or coral picking.

My flame didn't touch a coral for the first five years. Then it developed a taste for high end zoas. Couldn't eat the crap ones.

I think most would agree that the cb is the best bet. I have one that never bothers my coral. I also have a Lamark angel. they are absolutely reef safe but a 60 might be too small.

I have a flame and potter's that will nip at things from time to time but I feel that they are more grazing than eating the corals. I haven't noticed any damage to corals. I try to feed multiple times a day which think helps keep them at bay

The one I've had the most consistent luck with is a Coral Beauty. Can't remember having one that was a nipper in 35 years. But the one that would be best for your size tank is the Pygmy Cherub. Those have been hit or miss for me.

My dumb banana head of an Centropyge bicolor[FONT=arial, sans-serif] [/FONT]angle like to pick at my green bubble tip anemone.. it leaves the other three bubble tips alone :crazy: Strange thing is that it leaves my corals alone...
