Instant Ocean is one of the most common salts used among top reefers in the US. This is what I was using and choose it for it's consistency. Personally I feel that they all work fine and will not make or break a tank.

IO, only because I dose with BRS 2 part and Red Sea Coral Colors.

Instant Ocean. Tried various salts and saw no difference. I thought to myself instead of spending 3x the amount on salt perhaps, from a money standpoint, it would be better to change 3x the water.

I paid under $25 a bucket for the last 4 IO's I bought. I do throw a pinch of mg in every batch I make.

I use IO and then dose Alk and Ca. Works just fine for me!
