Hello all, I'm looking into getting an RO machine, and do not know where to start. I'm looking for 100+ gallons a day system. I was looking at the BRS water plus. Does anyone know if they are worth the money?

Hm well anything rodi is worth it.
You dont have to go extravagant
Keep it simple and you will have the best water to use.

spectrapure, hands down!! the best RODI on the market. true innovators and great folks too!
Agreed but if you look at how these are made they all follow an industry standard in size.
I didnt want to push any one company but brs and spectrapure is what i use.

size perhaps, but the housing and plastics are just one factor. spectrapure uses/produces/tests the best membranes in the business, and thats what really matters.

Yeah, that's what I'm looking for. I had no idea if certain membranes are known for lasting longer. I just didn't want to get stuck with a product that needs constant replacements and have to pay for it on the back end.

75 gpd or more, so then you are sitting and waiting. From what i have seen is you are looking for a TDS Meter, 4 stages minimum. Then the next step you need to look at is replacement cost on cartridges. I bought Local for the reason I support local business. I am very happy with my http://www.aquariumwaterfilters.com/.

No one compares to Spectrapure. They specially treat all their RO membranes to improve their performance then either batch test or individually hand test them with their Select series which are guaranteed 99% rejection rate in writing. No one else in the industry offers that. This is extremely important to you since for every 2% you can improve the membrane performance you double the life of your DI resin.
The are also the only vendor to custom blend all their own DI resins in house based on thousands of hours of real world testing so they are only the best and freshest for our applications. The are one of only a few to use much better absolute or near absolute rated, low micron sediment filters to protect the pores in the carbon block so it can do what it is supposed to and not act as a sacrificial sediment filter making up for what the higher micron nominal rated filters miss. The also use only capillary tube flow restrictors which the end user can adjust for the perfect waste ratio for their unique water conditions and much more. 30+ years of research and development in the industry really makes a difference. Having owned now 7 systems I will not buy my RO supplies anywhere else, they wouldn't last as long and would end up costing more.

AZ is seriously the man when it comes to water issues. and a super nice guy! super helpful and willing to take quite a bit of time to help us reefers out.

Filter Guys, Ocean Wave +, very knowledgable and friendly guys. I have not had any issues with my system. I def would buy from them again and again!
