looking for opinions for best sand sifters? Have a 75 gallon tank. I have a pink spotted watchman goby already but not really doing the trick. Any opinions i would appreciate it. Thanks

Tiger tail cucumbers are fantastic at cleaning sand without making any type of sandstorm. I would not run a tank without them.

I agree cucumbers are great. I just know that some people stray away from them due to most (if not all of them) are poisonous. They can wipe out your whole tank if they get stressed or die. I personally have a sea apple which is also poisonous. So I’m not against them. Just be aware that they can cause huge issues.

Ohh I also have 2 periscope snails. I tend to forget that I have them because you very rarely see them.

Do they move/clean all around the tank or clean in one smaller area? Thanks

Tiger tails can asexually reproduce in our tanks, so eventually (years) you will have quite a few of them. I started with one and have counted at least 3. My tank is 6'x2'x2' and they keep all of the sand clean.

Nassarius snails and diamond goby

A long poking stick. Otherwise the typical clean up crew. I dont care for sand all over the rocks.

Diamond goby 1000%. Keeps sifting through the sand all day. Also good trait about the diamond is they stay on the sand bed when sifting. Some gobies will scoop up sand and swim to the top and rain the sand down over everything.

Might want to research two spot goby, Signigobius biocellatus.
