Best sea anemone

maroons host just about anything but they can also become too aggressive with their host anemone so make sure it's a appropriate size, usually 4x the size of the fish. It also comes down to how much experience you have with anemones? '

I had a long tip anemone but it died because of a 4 hour power out but it was doing good before that

Maroons naturally take to Bubble Tips, you can get a large one for around $60. I have three in my tank.
very easy to take care of as well

where are you located?

Don't bta move around lots

Depends on the situation. mine haven't moved in three years.
how old is the tank, are there any other corals in the tank?
also if the anemone is being beat up too bad its going to move. this is why i have multiple nems. to give them a break from the "loving" they get from the clowns.

My tank is about a year old I know the older the tank the better right

personally I'd start with a nice LTA since you can find them larger more frequently and you have had experience with them. Once acclimated and doing good I'd move up to bubble tips and there are some really nice ones out there, still trying to stop feeding my addiction. The best option for most clownfish are S. Gigantea carpet anemones but they are basically expert only so I wouldn't recommend that. S.Haddoni will also host most clowns but they can also eat them and will eventually eat one or more of your fish. I'd say start with a nice LTA, roughly 6" or more. As I'm sure you're aware since you housed one, they prefer the sandbed next to some rockscape and dig their foot through the sand to attach to the base of the rock IME. Good luck!

I have a Stichodactyla mertensii anemone that host my maroon clown. I took a couple months but one day it started to host it and now it won't leave it alone, I also have a mushroom anemone that it host. Stichodactyla mertensii anemones can be more expensive then haddoni's and are best suited for experts. I am definitely not a expert but I manage to keep it happy.
