Silicone 1 works great. Just make sure it doesn't have any mold protection

As long as it's just silicone and doesn't have mold resistant or anything like that it's fine

R you re sealing or putting a tank together?

If ur re sealing and you had a leak it's best to strip everything and re glue the glass together. I only re sealed a leaky tank and it only lasted 2 weeks.

I have never built a tank but I have a friend. You need to glue the glass together first then silicone. Honestly I don't know enough to help you at this point. I suggest you do some more research or find someone who has done it and ask for help.
