Best Skimmer for 8x10 footprint

Whats the best skimmer for Skimmer Section: 8.25″ x 10″ tank/sump is 70gal water volume

Currently have the older reef octo 1000sss,

Thinking of Nyos 160

what kind of height are you working with?
Can it go outside of the sump?

Height is 9.5, needs to be inside under the stand.

Bubble Magnus curve 5. Works amazing on my 75 gallon and on sale for 159$ on marine depot. I highly recommend it.

sorry, is that just the height of the water in sump? I meant height from bottom of sump to top of stand.

I agree with the BM Curve 5, and it is short, but it does really need to be in 6-7" of water imo.

sorry for not being clear,

9.5 is the water level, 15 is the sump level and 35 is the stand height

I would say the BM Curve 5 on a 2.5" stand(c. $30 for one 7x7x 2.75" from Melev's Reef) would work great. I made a temp one from egg crate and a 6x6" piece of acrylic at 3" high and it works well in 9.75", but I wanted in the middle of the max to min. setting of the outflow on the Curve 5 skimmer so hence the skimmer stand I ordered.
