Best skimmer for no mirco bubbles

Sup guys what skimmer are u guys running in ur sumps...are u guys getting mircobubbles in display....my simplicity 240 dc put a ton of bubbles in display

Sounds like the skimmer just isn't adjusted properly. That, or maybe in wrong section. A bubble trap in the sump would solve the issue

It's sitting in 9 inches of water...pump fully open..air fully open .....if I close the air slowly the bubbles don't move up the skimmer body

Might be best to start a new post about just the skimmer. I'm sure others have dealt with it before.

So many variables involved to get bubbles into your display, it may not be the skimmer alone - sump setup, output direction, skimmer height etc. I'm sure you've tried adjusting some of these things already, but might take some tinkering. Does your sump have a baffle?

I have a simplicity DC120 in a RSR170 sump. I had micro bubbles until I broke in and tuned the skimmer. I also have a piece of filter floss between the baffles for the return pump.

Its the waterbox sump it has a white baffle for bubbles
