Does anyone know any good cameras that wont break the bank? I want one to connect to my tank from home, so when I am away or out of the house I can go on an app to look and monitor my tank in case anything happens or goes haywire

My wife got me a couple of Blink cameras for Christmas a couple years ago. Pretty simple setup and looks good, the only downside, if you want to call it that, is that it only plays video for like ten seconds then you need to hit a button to keep it playing.
Otherwise I have no complaints :)

I use a couple of Reolink Lumus cameras, one inside the sump and one outside. They only do 1080p, but they are powered by 5V, so you can just wire them up to a USB port, which you probably have in your cabinet anyway. It should run you about $50 each.

i went with blurams after looking at typical brands people are using like wyze/eufy/etc.

paid $10 for a foldvue to put in the sump and $20 for a 360 cam for the outside. i purchased these during prime day, but i'd expect a random sale or bundle package to pop up and reflect the same price.

decent features that stood out; live video streaming (blink and a few other brands only offer 11 seconds of footage or something), sd card (no subscription for continuous recording), 2k video, 5v power, night vision, motion detection, etc.
