I've had a cloudberry chalice for about 14 months now. It's grown, though very slowly. As of late, the color has been better and it's been growing more, but, so has the galaxea that was too close to it, so it got hit pretty hard. I just managed to pry it off the rock and needed nippers to do it.

My tank is low on space right now, but I've ordered a new tank that should be here in September. In the mean time, where should I put this guy to hopefully heal and recover? There isn't any good place (it's on the sand bed at the moment) but I'll do my best once I figure out where it *should* be.

Question, do you know if clouberries chalice is an encruster, or a plating coral? Attached picture is from Chaos Aquaculture.
