Best sps frag vendors

One that hasn't been mentioned that is on the East Coast that should DEFINITELY be on your list is Reefers Direct! They're a sponsor here and have awesome SPS. Check them out!

I think I'm going to try another order with pacificeastaquaculter as I got their premium membership plus their shipping is one lyrics $19.99 cuz I live so close to the facility, I think their sps and acans have a Lotta potential under proper lighting

I bought the coral below from Pacific East last year. It was a pinkish color when I bought it, but it has turned more of a copper color now. It has become one of the favorites in my tank. Jason Fox, WWC and Battlecorals are my other primary sources for SPS.

Gorgeous I'm nervous since I haven't grown sps in a couple years but I've successfully grown colonies of millies and acropora but my po4 is at 1.46ppm according to my hanna meter so I'm doing a water change plus I got gfo and carbon in a brs dual reactor plus a dual refugium with chaeto and calaupra so my levels will go back down I'm hoping....

Every one of the vendors mentioned here are amazing but Adam from Battlecorals goes wayy out of his way to help you out.
Its not only the frags that are amazing and clean , but his communication and support is top notch . I get pre and post sale free consultations on any sps and advice what to do in case of emergencies !!
Its these qualities of Adam and personal support that makes him special ...

Regards,
Abhishek

Battlecorals, Fraghouse Corals, AquaSD, top Shelf and WWC are my favorites. But I have also ordered from Cherry corals, Jason Fox, Reef Raft, Reef Pets and a few others I'm sure and never had an issue.

Hmm glad to hear that I'll definitely order from them in the near future

I think we left off two very FINE online sps or lps coral suppliers! Unique Corals and Coral Revolution are top notch, online dealers.
Coral Revolution, has some nicest SPS Coral Frags that you will never see! Also, they are not all sold out of 90 % of there SPS frgs like WWC OR BattleCorals. Here just a few SPS frags that are available @ Coral Revolution.

People seem to have shipping healthy frags down pat, and named varieties are named varieties, so the remaining variable seems to be size. I have gotten great frags from a bunch of places online in the past year, but they are generally under an inch. The only big frags are from hobbyists.
If you're looking for larger frags of aquacultured sps I have many over 1" some even as big as mini colony size 2-3".

Unless you can afford $200+ per frag, you'll need to stick to forum members and locals to buy from. You'll find many people here selling these high end frags for way way less than the source.

I think my most expensive frags are around $70. Many are over 1" and I have many named sps. I don't think it's fair to say everyone charges $200 a frag. :/ There are plenty of other r2r sponsors too priced similarly.

Its just an expression. I don't literally mean that every, single, coral cost $200 per frag.

A quick trip to BC shows that many are in that range, so, my point is valid.

A $200 frag here on the forum gets you quite the frag. Not so much, in my opinion, at the above mentioned coral houses.

I've never heard a bad thing about battlecorals and he is willing to work with you on what to create. Grab Bag!

Gonzo has always treated me well. He packs each frag with great care even though he knows I've only got a 45 minute drive back to my house.

You get what you pay for in this hobby:) Many of these mentioned vendors carry one of a kind frags, i.e.- Joe's Rainbow Acro is very hard to find, JKRs, Coral Revolutions and Battle Corals are the only vendors/members I know of that carry the real deal. There are members that also carry some sweet frags, you just need to know who to ask and know what you want. Like if you're in the market for some awesome Millie's, @reefersteve78 has some very nice ones. You often have to hit him up quickly for his Orange Millie, they don't last long when he has them for sale. Just to name some more. That's why threads like this are so great! Keep it coming;Woot;Woot
