Setting up a 90 gallon reef/fish tank. Do not have the time to build a DIY sump and not a lot $$ for a high-end sump, prefer good skimmer and lights. Any suggestion for a good brand / type of sump.

Then trigger systems. But they cost a bit more. There are lots of other company's but I think most are in trigger system price range or more

Look for a quality sump that is made close to your home, that way you can save on shipping. If the sump has a euro brace it will take up useable space within the sump. Does fancy colors make the sump better or just the ability to look inside easily? If you are an equipment junkie having the sump always visible you will want a nice looking sump.

Icecap Sumps are by far the best for the money. Well built with plenty of room. Also has build in ATO reservoir which eliminates another added cost...

I completely agree. My Icecap is great and they are very reasonably priced.

How long can you hold off on this purchase? There may be a nice option coming soon that you may want to consider.

Check out Melev's Reef, im about to swap my DIY sump for one of his.

i made a sump out of a 80 gallon frag tank it took maybe 90 min start to finish make your own it is way cheaper and you get something that is good for your set up. I could not find a sump that was 24 x 48 and under 18 inch tall it is very ez

Been happy with my Skimz from BRS. Nice they made a size for cube tanks, those have been hard to find.
