Best sump to buy?

So I was going to have a local guy make a sump for me but I haven't back from him and I am tired of waiting

So what type of sumps are out there? The only one I know of is trigger systems.

What other sumps should I look at.

What do you suggest.

I have a Trigger systems on my 75 gallon. The reason i picked that one is because the skimmer is in the first chamber. So i have no air bubbles in the display tank, I love it! Im sure their are alot of other good refugium/sumps out there though.

If I was you, I would just go get a used tank and turn it into a sump. Cost much less then buying one.

Buy a tank go to Lowe's and buy acrylic for the baffle they'll cut it for you. People said I can't silicone acrylic to glass but I've had my sump for 2 years. I made one identical to Newyorkstello on YouTube.

Under $60 for a trigger sump replica. Good luck.

why use acrylic...when glass is easily available and the proper product to use.

if I cant find a sump online that I like and those atomic reef ones are perfect! then ill buy a 29 gallon and but some glass baffles in it.

anyone else know of any nice sumps that are online

Home Depot and Lowe's don't sell thick glass just picture frame size.

if you live in an area that has HD or Lowes...you surely have a glass shop. it only need to be 1/4". I can get glass baffles cut to any size, usually that day if I call early enough. And I live in a very small town(no HD or Lowes).

Mike: those atomic sumps look awesome, dont they? I have been checking them out for a little bit. havent decided if I should get a few of those or have some things custom made here in town.

They said they will do custom sizes. So I'm going to have them do 33" x 12.5" x 15" that takes up the length of the stand. And also allows me to take it out the side door if needed
