Best qualityAbsolute no budget best? Or best value?
I have a 140-gallon Waterbox and absolutely love it. I'm going to try the Peninsula Mini 25 for some clowns. I have never owned a Red Sea product though, so I'm not quite ready for war. I'll just denounce you for now ;HilariousYou're going to get a big split between Waterbox and Redsea most likely...I'm on the Red Sea squad. *prepare for battle: Places helmet on head*
thanks so much for the mention!Reef savvy, glass cages, planet aquarium
Thanks so much @rtparty. We are really proud of the work the Glass Cages team is doing!Best of the best? Reef Savvy and plan a 12-18 month wait and $$$$
Best of the best that won't take your kid's future and you won't wait that long? Glasscages. Absolutely love mine so far. You can see it in my build thread
Build time question. typically we are currently at 5 to 8 weeks. The more options and customizations could increase to 10 weeks. not often though. Thanks so much for the mention!!!IMO, the line of demarcation is between those that make high quality custom tanks; where the tank and stand are made to the specs that the customer wants. These include Reef Savvy, Custom Aquariums, Glass Cages and others. Then there are those companies like Water Box and Red Sea that are basically assembly line manufacturers. No question in my mind (as the owner of tanks from both groups) that the quality of the custom manufacturers is superior not only in their quality of manufacture but also the variety offered in the way of stands that are actually wood and can be custom stained to match existing furniture that you may have. Another consideration is lead time. Both Reef Savvy and Custom usually have a rather long lead times of several months. Glass Cages is very responsive and Joe can chime in with what his lead times usually are.
