I have the Reefkeeper Elite but I only use it to track Temp and PH. I use paper to document all my other testing results. I have noticed from some of the recent forum discussions that Apex must have a test logging software so it made me think that it would be nice to log my test results, equipment purchases, water changes, etc. electronically so I googled it and there is a long list of options. What are people using?

Here are a few links of what I found so far:
http://www.aquarimate.com/

I use aquarimate on my iPad and iPhone. I like it you can log all parameters, expeensives, livestock, wish lists, equipment, and creat timelines. Will also let you view your parameters in a nice graph. Now you have to input everything, but it works for me.

I was just looking at that one. I noticed that it cost $9.99 in the app store. Is that a one time cost or is their additional costs for functions or re-occuring costs?

I have been reading the reviews in the app store and it sounds like some folks have it crash on them. Does that happen to you?

I've have had it crash once, but it booted right back up and I didn't lose any data. Only thing I don't like is that I have to keep my iPad up right because when o view it side ways it cuts off some of the options. It's a one time 9.99 fee. It's says there are in app purchases but I haven't seen anything like that. Just my opinion. Please get others before you make the purchase. I'm only have experience with aqarimate I have never used their others.

Oh you can also schedule task reminders and stuff that's cool too. I have mine to remind me to change filter socks, water changes, and other tasks like that. I like the timelines too. I take a picture of any new editions and can take another picture every week or
Month to document growth.

Thanks. I did notice in the reviews that one person commented that he wished that time could be logged with test date. So evidently only date can be logged which is unfortunate. Test results can be different based on the time of day and how far into the light cycle you are.

I do like that feature. I forget the date that I changed the carbon and phosban in my dual reactor. Filter socks I change every 3 days but a reminder would be nice too.

Yea unfortunately it's just the date. But you can put a note with each parameter you test. So you could put the time there. Now when you view it in the graph notes don't show up. You have to tap the parameter on the certain day you want to see to view any notes.
