Best Tank Manufacturers

Hey Everyone. Looking to upgrade tank to 125 gal.

Not sure if I should go with acrylic or glass. What are some good manufacturers and acrylic vs glass.

If you're going glass, I would recommend Aqueon.

My preferred glass tank mass market manufacturer is deep blue professional - not sure that they go as high as 125 though. Marineland and Aqueon are mostly fine. Overflows on all of them stink though. Going custom opens up a whole lot of additional options; though may not be worth it on a tank as small as 125. I bought my current acrylic tank from fishtanksdirect in Florida, and have been very happy with it. It’s huge though, so you’d have to check to see that they also do smaller sizes.

As you get into really huge tanks, glass and acrylic cost tend to converge. At smaller volumes, acrylic is close to double.

My concern is long term. Will glass leak at seals or weaken. All acrylic can be buffed out? Thoughts
