My uv manual (coralife) says 290gph for parasites and 680gph fir algae. If my main plan is to kill Ostreopsis and geneal tank heath what is the best target gph?

Do I need to use a prefilter?

Any one have any pics or diagrams of a setup?

Thanks

The "algae" recommendation is for a greenwater event with phytoplankton that's like ~5 microns.
Our problem dinos are more like 50+ microns so the "parasites" recommendation for longer contact time is more in line and seems to be more what works for dino cases.

THANKS @taricha That gets me going.
