best uv sterilizer for a 10 gallon

does anyone have any experience with the hang on the back uv sterilizers that function like a aqueon quite flow filter instead of like a aqua 15 watt hob would, im trying to get a uv sterilizer into the tank it only has one clown in it but hes from petco so i wanna minimize his risk of disease and control algae with something size appropriate for his tank.
