Tried three different Vacuum cleaners for my bare bottom tank and been disappointed three times. So ......... what do you prefer to use or can advise me to use. Thank you.

Following. Cleaning the sNd created by my Quoyi on my BB is a chore, and I like it clean

Bucket head vacuum belongs in every fish room, I agree. I'm on my third. Probably not a great option for vacuuming the schmutz off the bottom of the display though. I always just used a standard siphon with a filter sock in the bucket if I wanted to reuse the water; no filter sock if throwing the water away.

Garden hose and a bucket

When using the aquarium vacuum cleaner from KASAN, I trust it the most. This unit has a long handle that allows me to clean my tank thoroughly and has the added benefit of keeping my hands dry. The pump is efficient because it only takes a few pumps to get the water going. In addition to cleaning, I also use this aquarium gravel vacuum cleaner to change the water. Using only the siphon without the end fittings is ideal for partial or complete water changes. This is a great way to empty the aquarium.

I use a Flare nozzle for Lockline with a slightly larger angled opening on a Vortex Diatom filter with out the powder.

Aside from cleaning, you can also use this fish tank gravel cleaner vacuum for doing water changes. Just using the siphon without the end attachments is ideal for doing partial or full water changes. This is a great way to empty a fish tank.
