Hey R2R,

I recently moved to MI to an apartment. I have a 4 stage Barracuda FX RO/DI system and was wondering what the ideal filtration setup would be in my apartment. I have Both a kitchen and bathroom sink. I also brought two 34 gallon brutes for my water storage..

How do people get by with water storage and filtering in apartments?

I have been buying 10 gallons of spring water every other week from Wally world to keep the tank a float. My last house I could just run the RO/DI system to a hose pipe.

I know there are inline connectors to attach to a sink but are these a huge hassle to install? Also, do all of those connections generally require a booster pump for the RO system....guess I could try it and see what the PSI coming out is. Thanks in advance !

I was fearless when me and the wife moved into our apartment, when our house was being built. Fearless? Yep, the second bathroom had just a shower, no tub. I mounted the RO/DI on the wall next to the shower, attached the supply line directly to the shower head tube (removed the shower head to do this) and had my brute Container on wheels in the shower!

When we moved out, I filled the holes in with taping mud and sanded flat the area. Took off the adapter from the shower head tube and reinstalled the shower head.

Worked.
