Best water movement?!

I have the reefer 170, and apex control module with DOS. I'm trying to decide the the best device for water movement. Gyre, or powerhead (vortech, etc..)
The gyre can be controlled with the apex, but i assume others can as well..
What is the best option in your so humbled opinions??
I'm also looking for minimal devices in the display as much as possible.

Tank is also cycling while I get everything in line for what I hope is a great build.

I have two Aqamai KPS on both sides and a Sicce 2.0 with a VCA nozzle and that is more than enough even with PH and 50%. I got LPS and softies on the bottom and SPS on top. Check this guys 170 out it is awesome. He has two Gyres on both sides. This guy did it right his tank is amazing

That is quite an amazing tank! I want to have a beautiful coral scape. But I'm mostly doing this for the fish.. As my planted tanks are all about the plants.. I wanted to change it up a little! Lol. But I do want as much coral as feesable
