I've always heard t5 is the way to go for chalices..

T5's, spot feeding, consistent alk, cal, mag. I thing some run there mag near 1450. Hard thing is spot feeding and keeping your tank clean. I've heard some people feed there chalices outside there tanks so there water part meters are affected. I think time and placement play the biggest part. Not the same for all chalices is the tricky part.

I have used LEDs on my chalices for 3+ years. Started out with Evolutions and went to Vertex about a 1/2 year ago. I would not trade LEDs for any lights for chalices. Just need to be a bit patient on placement. I have never spot feed and mine and all are growing just fine. Did a stupid thing about a year ago and let cal get too low for too long of a period. Pure dingle dongides on my part - and an expensive move. I lost a 7 eye BPC FT, a 25 eye Monster Mash, a 20 eye MM and a 3 eye Ktar Convict. Now I am smarter - well that's questionable! Good luck - Chalices are so cool. Dave

Radion leds, med flow, good water quality. Feed amino acid every night. LPS chalice/zoa food 2 x week. Chalices thriving.
