Best is opinion, and best depends on your goals. For example higher alk and higher pH can lead to faster hard coral growth, but lower alk may allow lower nutrient levels to be used which may lead to less brownish coloration of some corals.

I tested the water in my 125g mixed reef and the following are the current parameters.
Temp: 78*F
SG: 1.026
Mg: 1400 ppm
Alk: 12 dkh
Ca: 430 ppm
Nitrate: 3 ppm
I am using Ocean's Blend 2 part solution.
What is the best way to lower the alkalinity to 9.5 - 8.5?
