I just set up my new stand - a nice cherry wood with mahogany stain. I’m concerned about saltwater corrosion since a drop or two always seems to get on the sill after feeding, etc. I’ve read that marine spar maybe the way to go. However, I’d like to check to get the thoughts of more knowledgeable and experienced ones. Thank you ahead of time

Evening @Nikko

my stand is about 10 years old. I think I put regular flat polyurethane, but not 100%. Since then just been using cleaner wax and still looks good. No water spots.

lots of stand builder here. Maybe someone will be around tonight
