Best way to attach Macro algae to live rock ?

I just got a good amount of macro algae: a couple ulva, a red fern, a pom pom, blue octhodes, and queen of hearts.
Right now they’re just kind of floating around my tank because i’m waiting on glue to be delivered, but while I wait I thought i’d ask.
What’s the best way to attach macros to live rocks ?
i’ve heard of using fishing line, but seems like a hassle. Glue seems to be the go to but do I just glue a piece of the plant directly to the rock ? seems a bit silly.
any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

For pom pom I glue the easiest and most accessible "branches" to a large shell or piece of rubble. Do this outside of the tank. It's not a problem if the macros is exposed to air for a bit. Once it is stuck to the shell/rubble, I put it in the tank roughly where I want it. As it grows it will attach to the main rock.

For octodes, which I think is similar to blue hypnea, you'll need it in a place it won't get blown away by too much flow. Rubber band to a piece of rubble. That stuff just comes apart too easy for my taste.

I'm not familiar with the other macros (scientific names?) but Ulva you shouldn't have to do anything. That stuff will attach and grow everywhere whether you want it to or not

i’ll glue the pom pom to a small piece of rock I have then ! and yea the octhodes have seperated a lot and it’s more like 4 small pieces now, but i’ll gather them and band them to a rock !
the site I bought from didn’t list the scientific names unfortunately.
