Hi all,

I currently have three AI Prime 16 lights and and Orphek 90 strip on my 80gal tank. It is mainly SPS (acros, montis, birdsnest, etc.) and a few LPS. Thye have been growing well.

I am building a bigger FOWLR and want to use the opportunity to improve on my lighting and transfer the AI Primes to the FOWLR. I have two SKYs ready to go. No PAR meter. I live in Costa Rica. No PAR meters for rent and really don't want to spend $500 for a PAR meter I will use once. This gives me uncertainty on PAR levels of course.

I am planning of swapping out all lighting for the two SKYs and trying around 30-35% to start, which should be around 120-130watts. I am currently using 180watts with the Primes and the Orphek. Then gradually (over weeks) bringing the SKYs up to 60%-70%.

What think of this plan? Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
