I recently went from full reef to FOWLR. I would typically run my reef at 80. It was fairly solid holding 79.8 - 80.3. I'd like to drop my running temp from 80 to 78. I run 4 heaters in my tank. Two 150w and two 300w. System is 125 display with 125 sump.
Should I just go for it and move all the heaters down to 78? I cant really slowly drop it, because of the number of heaters. You think it'll hurt anything by just making the move?

Fish aren't as sensitive to temperature drops like corals are. Just a 2°F drop won't hurt them at all. Most fish are shipped and go through large temp differences without difficulty.

I figured it wouldnt be an issue. My tank has just been running at 80 for so long I'm afraid to change it haha.
