A many know I have a tank with tons of Caulerpa!!! I have removed some of the rock and it is drying. What is the best way to make sure I kill all the chances of caulerpa before I return it to the tank.

If it's already dry. Humm. You could boil it. I'm not sure if bleach could be used as it might evaporate after a few days. Would by try that without finding someone who had done it though.

Dry rock = dead rock, bleaching the rock will make the rock nice and white. If you bleach the rock, just let it air dry for a day and then soak in RO water for a day, after the RO soak, you can place the rock back in the tank.

Drying it doesn't always kill all the algae. If you are going to go to the trouble of cleaning it the easiest thing is a dip in Muratic acid rinse then a dip in bleach. Guaranteed to kill everything including removing a lot of phosphate. I think the formula is 1:10 on both the acid and bleach. A good rinse after the bleach and air dry for a few days. You can even add a little dechlorinator if you wanted.
Bleach and water or Acid wash using Muriatic Acid.

Muratic acid followed by 1 week RO (change water every other day). Then lanthanium (sic) chloride for 2 weeks. Once the precipitation is reduced 1-2 more RO/DI baths and you have the cleanest rock that contains no phosphates available for algae to grow on. I did this with all my recent dry rock and had minimal bloom (except for the new tank stuff).
'til it stops foaming plus 2 hours. You'll know...
