Just picked up a used tank and want to know the best and safe way to clean it . Bleach then vinegar?

I typically use bleach with the many used tanks that I have cleaned but I think either will be acceptable. Good luck!

What different if you have an acrylic tank?

ive seen some people I think on this site, would fill it up 1/4 of the way and use bottle couple bottles of vinegar and a pump with a hose attach to direct flow around the tank to make it easier to clean coraline and other encrusting stuff left in the tank.
with partial fill you don't have to buy as much vinegar and can make a stonger solution.

From what I understand, too strong of a vinegar or bleach solution, or leaving them in too long in an acrylic tank can fog the acrylic. Not personal experience, just hearsay.
